Easel & Ermine ("we", "us") is operated by Michael Scheuerman, a sole proprietor doing business as Easel & Ermine, 3125 Lawrenceburg Ln, Atlanta, GA 30339, USA. This policy explains what we collect when you use easelandermine.com and our AI-generated pet portraits (digital files and optional printed products).

What we collect

• Order details you provide: your email address, the pet photo(s) you upload, the styles you choose, and (for physical orders) your shipping name and address.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies/pixels used for analytics and advertising measurement (see below).

How we use it

• To create, deliver and support your order (including emailing your files).
• To prevent fraud and abuse (e.g., limiting free previews).
• To measure and improve our advertising (Meta Pixel and Conversions API; your email is sent only in hashed form).
• To send marketing emails only if you opt in. Unsubscribe anytime.

Who we share it with

Service providers that process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Netlify (hosting and file storage), Google (Gemini API image generation) or fal.ai (alternative image generation), Resend (email delivery), Printful or Gelato (printing and shipping, only for print orders), and Meta (advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API). We do not sell your personal information. We do not allow our AI providers to use your content to train their models where the provider offers that option (paid API tiers).

Retention

Uploaded photos and previews are automatically deleted after 30 days. Delivered files are kept for 30 days so you can re-download them. Order records are kept as required for tax and accounting.

Cookies & advertising

We use the Meta Pixel to understand which ads lead to purchases. You can opt out of interest-based ads in your Facebook/Instagram ad settings and via browser controls. We currently sell only to customers in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@easelandermine.com. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete; we don't sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the measurement described above.

Children

Our service is intended for adults 18+ and is not directed to children.
